Operational Services & Systems (Aust) Pty Ltd (OSS) and Industry Data Online (IDOL) have formed an alliance to deliver a much enhanced independent gaming product performance & whole of business performance benchmarking capability to the Victorian Gaming Industry.

OSS is the developer of System One and Gold Coin, the financial control and performance reporting systems currently used in the majority of gaming venues in Victoria. OSS also caters for multi-site venue operations through its Central System. OSS is excited and very committed to continue to deliver its services to Victoria now and beyond August 2012.. For more information about OSS visit www.oss.net.au

IDOL is the leading provider of independent information management, data analysis & reporting to the gaming industry with in excess of 400 customers operating over 37,500 gaming machines across NSW, QLD, ACT, NT & VIC. IDOL delivers its services through its high speed web-based applications – Club Data Online & Hotel Data Online. For more information about IDOL visit www.industrydataonline.com

Under the new gaming model, it will be imperative that Victorian venues not only have access to independently presented Victorian gaming product performance data, but also comparative product performance data from the other gaming jurisdictions such as NSW & QLD. It is these states where new product is traditionally first released to the market. Venues need access to this industry-wide comparative data so as not to rely on internal venue performance data alone.

The IDOL application will, from a gaming perspective, provide valuable industry-wide & internal analysis and reporting on product turnover & revenue performance trends, market share & product distribution analysis, carding & RTP%, access to a dynamic gaming database representative of every gaming manufacturer plus game & link systems available to the market. The jewel in the crown is the game performance report suite that provides an independent view of monthly game rankings, link performances and new game release reports across all manufacturers within and outside of Victoria.

Access to the latest independent gaming performance information will assist in many ways including:

Empowering the machine owner when negotiating with manufacturers and other gaming service providers

Providing performance analysis data for gaming machine purchase & product selection

Maximising return on investment (ROI)

Maximising product warranty options for under-performing games

Gaming floor optimisation – ensuring the best products are available to your customers

OSS will support the delivery of the service by automatically facilitating the required data transfer. This will be done (with the venues permission) from the venues internal System One or Gold Coin direct to the IDOL system. IDOL will then undertake the data analysis process and publish the updated information to www.industrydataonline.com for venues to access 24/7 – 365 days a year via a secure password. Participation requires a minimal level of time and commitment from venue managers allowing them to get on and manage the day to day business and service the needs of customers.

The service will be made available to System One and Gold Coin venues from mid-2011 based on a low-cost per machine per day fee structure with comprehensive customer support and training provisions.

To find out more about the OSS/IDOL alliance, Club Data Online & Hotel Data Online applications or the Trial Offer under the alliance you are encouraged to visit us at the upcoming Club and Hotels 2011 Expo at the Melbourne Convention Centre on Tuesday 31 May and Wednesday 1 June 2011. Operational Services & Systems (OSS) will be on Stand # 241 and Industry Data Online (IDOL) on Stand # 267.

Big Business!

The Clubs and Hotels Expo is the only trade show that provides the stage for hospitality industry suppliers and the buyers from Community Clubs and Licensed Hotels to meet in a dedicated business environment.

Countdown to 2012

Changes to the regulations governing gaming machine operations, Victorian Clubs and Hotels will be able to purchase and operate their own choice of gaming machines from August 2012.
The Expo is ideally placed to take advantage of the planning for the purchase of machines and the many other aspects of gaming which will evolve in the twelve months prior and the opportunities this will bring.

We will be there

Operational Services and Systems (Aust) P/L (“OSS”) will be at the clubs and hotels expo 2011. Find us at stand # 241. Come and see whats new for System One and Gold Coin and also what OSS can offer you post 2012. Look forward to seeing you there!
